Cecil Utley

Cecil J. Utley 1937 ~ 2010 Cecil J. Utley,72, passed away January 7, 2010 after a long and valiant battle with M.S. and many other illnesses. Born May 5, 1937 in Sevier, Utah to Cecil Cleve and Jeanette Hyatt Utley. Married his eternal sweetheart, Sally Peterson in the Manti Temple September 12, 1955. She passed away April 30, 1997. He was a great example to all. A person with so many hardships, but never would he let anyone know something was wrong. He never had a bad day and he always let you know, as he always said Im great; even when he suffered so. Before M.S. struck, he loved to fish and hunt and was so very proud of the Big Buck he shot before church one Sunday morning. He loved being a District Manager for Brunswick Bowling Centers all over the country, and he was great at it. After the passing of his loving wife Sally, he married Geraldine Larsen, on February 12, 2000 and lived happily together with her till his passing. Cecil is survived by his wife, Geraldine Larsen; sister, Lorraine (Jacob) Bosklopper; brothers Morris (Gloria) Utley, Rex (Linda) Utley; daughters; Lisa (Chad) Roberson, Valorie (Ted) Miller, Joan (Mike) Hadley; grandchildren: Krista, Justin, Lesley, Sheena, Heather, Shane and Brannon; 5 great grandchildren. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him. Graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray City Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday 9:00-10:30 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
