Cecilia Perez

Cecilia Luna Perez 81, a resident of York Valley entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2024 at Banner Estrella Hospital with her sons by her side.  Cecilia was born to Arturo & Cuca Luna on January 26, 1943 in Morenci, AZ.  She attended Morenci High School and was from the class of 1961.

In 1964 she married her longtime sweetheart Fred Perez and they were married for 60 years.  Together they had three sons; Marc, Gary, and Hector and made their home in York Valley.

She is survived by her loving husband Fred, sons Marc & Gary, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her sisters Stella Romero & Olga Miller, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is proceeded in death by her son Hector, her grandson Robert, her parents Arturo & Cuca Luna, and her brother Henry Luna.

Services for Cecilia will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Holy Cross Parish in Morenci beginning with a viewing at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 12:00 and the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 with interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery following services.
