Ann Charlene Clouse passed away February 27, 2012 after a two year battle with Ovarian Cancer. Charlene was born in St. George Utah on March 20, 1956 to William and Mary Purdy. She lived in Utah until her family moved to Thatcher, Arizona when she was seven years old. Charlene was very talented both musically and as an artist. She had a voice of an angel performing often in musicals at Eastern Arizona College and as a vocalist in many choirs throughout her lifetime. She taught both piano and vocal students for many years. On September 24, 1976 she married Terrill G. Clouse in the Mesa Arizona Temple. To this union was blessed with seven wonderful sons who she was always proud of. Charlenes life was centered around her family. She was happiest when she was serving them. She had the talent of making a home a place of heaven on earth. It was always open for family gathering with her children, daughters-in-laws who she loved as her own daughters and her precious grandchildren she loved to spoil. She loved the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. She served faithfully in many calling passing on to her family the faith she had. She helped all seven sons obtain their Eagle Scout awards. Six of her sons honored their Heavenly Father in serving missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with one preparing to serve in the near future. All of her children that are married have chosen to be married in the Temple of the Lord having eternal families. She was preceded in death by her parents. Charlene is survived by her husband of 36 years Terrill G. Clouse and her sons Terrill W. (Natalee), Brent (Kellen), Aaron (Erika), Nathan (Emilee), Chad (Erin), Kevin (serving in The Lima Peru North Mission) and Marcus. She leaves seven grandchildren with two more due soon. She also leaves behind three siblings Bill, Richard and Shawna. Her Funeral will be held Saturday March 03, 2012, 10:00 am at the Highland Ranch Ward, located at 4629 East Guadalupe Road, Gilbert, Arizona. Viewings will be held Friday March 02, 2012 from 6:30-8pm and again on Saturday prior to the funeral service at 9:00-9:45 am. Interment will be held in the Thatcher, Arizona City Cemetery following the service at about 2:30-3:00 pm depending on travel time. NOTE: If sending flowers please have them delivered to the church Friday afternoon at 4:30.
