Charles Franklin Cooley Chuck / Mike Our loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, Charles Franklin Cooley, age 86, passed away peacefully following a long illness on September 24, 2008. Born June 27, 1922 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin to Claude Jerome and Norma Viola Harvey Cooley. Married Florence Lucille Lindemans on June 7, 1946. Chuck drove truck for many trucking companies spanning over 40 years. Chuck also worked and spent many years at the Magna Bishops Storehouse and was loved by all his fellow workers. Chuck also spent many years maintaining the grounds and mowing lawns at the Senior Retirement Park where he lived until he passed away at home. Chuck served in the US Army during World War II and survived being shot down twice during air strike missions in Germany. Survived by wife, Florence; daughters, Diana (Byron) Baumgart, Janice (Charlton) Whiting; son, Jerome Cooley; sister, Catherine Johnson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons, Michael and David Cooley. Memorial services will be Tuesday, September 30, 2008, 12:00 noon at the Granger 14th Ward, 2101 West 3100 South under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
