Charles Hansen

Charles "Chuck" J. Hansen, 84 of Pima passed away December 11, 2009 in Tucson. Chuck was born September 6, 1925 in Richfield, Utah to Charles & Lillian Hansen. He served in the US Army during World War II in the Aleutian Islands receiving several medals. He enjoyed bow hunting, fishing and working. Chuck was a loving husband, father and good provider for his family. Chuck worked for the Copper Mines but most will remember him operating the Pima Bar along with his wife Floydeen. He is survived by his wife Vernelle Hansen, children Richard, Randall, Charla, Alan, Toni, step children Earlyn, Craig, Ann, Eric, Angela, Hank, Melanie, Mark and Jan and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Lillian Bullock and Mace Hansen. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Floydeen Hansen, parents Charles and Lillian Hansen and wife Beverly Hansen. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Pima Cemetery.
