Charles Dale (Dorland) "Chuck" Littleton passed away suddenly on December 13th, 2018, in Tucson, AZ, at the age of 55. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on February 1, 1963.
Growing up, Chuck excelled in athletics, earning many distinctions, including all-state defensive lineman. After graduating from Safford High School in 1981, he served in United States Army from 1982 to 1984 in Germany as part of the 36th Infantry where he earned expert badges for hand grenade and M-16. Following his military service, Chuck trained in auto paint and body, eventually starting his own business, Southwest Collision Repair, in Silver City, New Mexico. Chuck also was an expert cook and grill man who enjoyed entertaining countless friends, neighbors, and business associates. He was an incredibly charismatic and generous individual who treated strangers as good friends.
Chuck is survived by two sons Kaiden and Toby of Safford, AZ; siblings, Frank (Cindy) Littleton of Rockport, TX; George (Cheryl) Ratliff of Silver City, NM; Jerry (Vangie) Ratliff of Kearney, AZ; William (Mikki) Lane; and Debbie Reed of Las Vegas, NV; five nephews, six nieces, and several great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in memory of Chuck will be held on Friday, January 18th, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at New Life City Church (3754 S Highway 191) in Safford, AZ. No interment service will be held.
