Charles Rowland

Charles B. Rowland 1920 ~ 2008 Charles B. Rowland, 88, passed away June 27, 2008 in Yuma, Arizona. Born June 19, 1920 in Fremont,West Virginia, son of Charles and Lourie Bolton Rowland. Married Helen L. Keachie; she preceded him in death. He was a member of the Roman Utes and a previous member of the Salt Lake Racing Association. He was a WWII veteran where he received a Purple Heart. He loved music, was a member of the LDS Church and was a retired automotive dismantler. Survived by wife, Beverly; children: Stephen (Barbara) Rowland, West Valley City; Joan Mann, West Valley City; Rod (Christie) Rowland, Taylorsville; stepchildren: Ron Forman, Kearns; Sandra (Tom) Wyman, Phoenix, AZ; Pam Harris, Yuma, AZ; Tim Forman, Salt Lake City; and numerous grandchildren. Also preceded in death by parents; a brother and sister. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 2:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N Street. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 12-2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
