Charlotte Blake Humphries Love One Another Charlotte Blake Humphries, fun loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away October 8, 2010. She was born December 16, 1913 in Hinckley, Utah to Joseph E. Blake and Delta Cox Blake. She married Ray B. Humphries in the Salt Lake Temple September 18, 1936. She was always active in the LDS church, serving as a Relief Society President; faithful visiting teacher, Young Womens Counselor, Sunday School, Primary and Young Womens teacher for over 50 years. She loved Temple work. Survived by her nine daughters: Joan (ElRay) Buchanan, Marilyn (Richard) Hubert, Kate (Steve) Burdette, Barbara (John) Hester, Paulette (Paul) Burt, Charlotte Marie (Dick) Hill, Debra Humphries, Kristine Humphries, and Cynde (Ken) Snow; 36 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Irene Whitfield and Lou Jean Steadman; brother, Delaun Blake. Preceded in death by husband; 2 grandsons; 1 great grandson. Sincere thanks to Haven Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2010 11:00 a.m. at the West Valley 4th Ward, 3200 West 3985 South. Viewing will be held Monday 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Tuesday at the church 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Family requests that you bring a few of your favorite photos of Charlotte to the Monday evening viewing. We will scan them then for a Keepsake Video.
