Charlotte Walker

Charlotte Beatrice Walker of Mesa, passed away November 27, 2019 at the age of 84. She was born August 16, 1935 in Solomon, Arizona to parents William Green Turner & Beaulah Savannah Earven Turner with siblings William F., Geri, Eddie & Betty, all who were raised in the surrounding area. Charlotte graduated from Safford High School in 1952 and married Jimmie L. Walker in Silver City, New Mexico on November 12, 1957. The couple was blessed with 4 children; Jimmie L. Walker, Jr., Francis D. Walker, Lisa S. Walker & William Myge Walker. In 1966, Charlotte moved to the Phoenix area where she worked various jobs during her life. She was known for her smile, laugh, humor and caring spirit, and that is what will be missed the most by all who knew her. Charlotte is survived by her children; Jimmie L. Walker, Jr. and Lisa S. Walker, her brother William F. Turner, 3 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jimmie L. Walker, Sr., her children; Francis D. Walker and William Myge Walker, her parents Bill G. and Beaulah S. Turner, and her siblings Geri Vaughn, Eddie Turner and Betty S. Thomas. A Graveside service for Charlotte will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Safford Cemetery.
