Cledith Wilkins

Cledith Lizzie (Teedie) Wilkins, 97, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2011 in Mesa. Cledith was born January , 1914 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lillie Bell Kendrick and John Thomas Deal. She moved to Bryce as a young girl attending school there and in Pima. She married Alvin I. Wilkins, January 6, 1930, and they made their home in Eden where their five children were born. They moved several times before moving back to Pima in 1982. Cledith (Teedie) enjoyed being a homemaker, wife and mother. She did work outside the home at times, but her "career" was taking care of her family. She is survived by her two sons; Junior and Dan both of Mesa. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Safford LDS Stake Center, 501 Catalina Drive, with Bishop Clay Emery officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Eden Cemetery.
