Clia Pearlie Price, 82, of York Valley passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at her home with her daughter Norine and granddaughter Naline at her side. Clia was born March 16, 1932 to Perry B. and Edith P Richardson in Verdon, Nebraska. She was the youngest of eight children. When Clia was six years old her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona because of her fathers health. They later moved to Cleator. In 1946 the family moved to Morenci. It was in Morenci that Clia met Clarence A. Price. They were married on November 24, 1948 in Lordsburg, N.M. They made their home in Morenci and over the years raised their three children, Linda Louise, James Wesley and Norine Gay. In 1977 they purchased land in the area of Apache Grove near Duncan and settled down. Clia was a homemaker her entire life and worked hard to raise her family. She was up early to help the kids get ready for school, take them to activities, cook, clean, and help with their homework. She was always there when they needed her. Clia loved her family, friend, pets, painting, and other crafts. She was an amazing woman who taught her family a lot. The most important lessons were not necessarily verbal. They were her actions. She always worked hard, rarely complained and was there when you needed her. Clia was a Mother, Grand Mother, Aunt and friend and will be missed everyday as long as we live. She is survived by her children; Linda (Richard) Hufford, James Wesley (Vetta May) Price and Norine Lawrence, grandchildren and friends. Clia was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, parents; Perry and Edith Richardson, son-in-law Odell Lawrence and her siblings. A viewing for Clia was held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel with the graveside service on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. in the Sheldon Cemetery.
