Clifford Davis

September 27, 1941 — January 3, 2008

Clifford Lynn Davis Ski 1941 ~ 2008 Lynn, our loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was taken away from us suddenly on January 3, 2008 due to heart failure. He touched many lives and will be missed more than words can say. Lynn was born on September 27, 1941, youngest of 12, to Benjamin Frank and Gladys Wilkens Davis in Salt Lake City. He married the love of his life, Karen Burr, on November 6, 1962. There was nothing he enjoyed more than to be with family, friends, and his brothers in the great outdoors, fishing, camping and hunting. Sitting by the campfire just relaxing, drinking a cold one and enjoying the scenery! Lynn also had a great love for baseball. He coached for a lot of years and taught many the love of the game, the patience and ability he had to teach will stay with many for a lifetime. Lynn was employed by Paramount Machine where his co-workers were like a second family, they all referred to him as Doc, the man who knew it all! He is survived by his wife, Karen; mans best friend, Buckwheat; sons, Kurt (Lorie), Carl (Denise), Chris (Stacey); son-in-law, John (Rachell); brothers, Chuck (Norma), Lowell, Russ (Marcia); sister, Luella (Lamar); 20 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, brothers, and his daughter, Kaylynn Johnson. We want to thank family and friends for their love and support. Lynn loved each and everyone of you. The family would like to thank the ICU nurses for all they did for him. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
