Clifford Stewart, Sr. "Skip", passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 in Phoenix. He was born on August 29, 1954 in San Carlos, Arizona to Bobbie & Ruth Stewart.
Clifford was a member of the House Of God Church. Clifford received his G.E.D. while serving in the U.S. Army from 1976 until 1979. While serving he received the Expert Badge for the M-16, the Sharpshooter Hand Grenade Badge and the Parachute Badge. He was also a Combat Engineer in Company A, 27th Engineer Brigade.
He then returned home and worked at many jobs including; an EMS Transportation driver for the San Carlos Apache Tribe, a heavy equipment operator at Phelps Dodge, Game Ranger, Recreation & Wildlife for the San Carlos Apache Tribe. Clifford married Wilson on August 29, 1998 in Bylas, Arizona at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He loved hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, camping, anything having to do with the outdoors, and his favorite, dancing.
Clifford is survived by his loving wife, Miranda Stewart and children; Clifford Stewart, Jr., Jaclyn Stewart, Robin Stewart, Joey Hunter, and his mother, Ruth Stewart, Also 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Clifford Preceded in death by Bobby steward Sr., Cecelia Steward, Michael Wilson and Aden lee Hunter.
A wake will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Stewart residence with the funereal service on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ernest Stanley Memorial Hall with interment in the Bylas Veteran's Cemetery.
