CORA JUNE BLUEMEL ~1916-2009~ TOGETHER AGAIN Loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on August 20, 2009 at Hillside Rehabilitation Center of Alzheimers and old age. She was born June 1, 1916 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Cora I. Learman and Edward Inman. She married Walter Joseph Bluemel on August 17, 1935 and they moved to Los Angeles, California, where they lived for 60 years. They moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1955 to be near family. Cora joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in February of 1957 and served faithfully. She was a kind, loving helpful person who worked hard, served others well, and touched many lives. She loved to help in the kitchen after church socials. She always had a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes and served everyone. Complete strangers would talk to her and she was such a good listener. Her husband, Walter, and her family were the center of her life. She loved to listen to music and dance around. She enjoyed cooking and reading. She loved to send cards to friends and loved ones and never forgot birthdays or special occasions. Among those who will miss her are her son Terry (Nancy); daughter, Marsha (Jon) Kelly; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. Cora was proceeded in death by her husband, Walter. A special thanks to the staff at Hillside Rehabilitation Center for their loving care and support to Mom and her family. There will be a Graveside Memorial Service on Tuesday, August 25, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
