Cris Daley

October 19, 1960 — February 25, 2021

Cris Ann Daley, 60, was born October 19, 1960 in Mesa, Arizona and passed away on February 25, 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona of Covid-19. Cris was the fourth of six children born to Rulen & JoNell Daley. She spent her adolescent years in Gilbert, Arizona and received a degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. Cris loved music and was extremely gifted in playing the piano and organ. She could sight read anything and shared her talent for years in her LDS congregations. She was talented in watercolor and won a local art contest when she was in high school. She also had a near perfect memory of every single family historical event right up to the year it happened and who was there, much to the chagrin of her siblings. Cris had a great love for all animals but especially cats. She would adopt every stray in the neighborhood if she could. In recent years, Cris found her niche in life when she acquired a job of going into homes and assisting others. She loved meeting new people and visiting with them. She was perfectly honest and compassionate and was loved by the clients she served. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her siblings - Brandt (Diane) Daley, Huntsville, Utah; Kathy (Bob) Weaver, North Ogden, Utah; Michael (Julia) Daley, Mesa, Arizona; Patrick (Jolinda) Daley, Colorado Springs; and Pamela (Sheldon) Webb, Mesa, Arizona. The family would like to thank the Olive Ward for their many years of kindness and service to Cris. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal shelter. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am at Thatcher Cemetery.
