Ronald Hodges 1928 ~ 2010 Ronald Hodges died January 26, 2010 at his home in Taylorsville, UT. He was born November 25, 1928 in Lewiston, UT to Doris and Jennie Haslam Hodges. Ron graduated from high school in Lewiston, served a mission in the North Western United States and is a veteran of the Korean War. He attended Utah State University where he received a B.S. degree in Social Work and completed requirements towards a Masters Degree at Idaho State University. He met Carole Nilson at Utah State University and they were married in the Logan Temple May 5, 1955. Ron worked as a counselor for Idaho State and finished his career there as Regional Manager. After retirement, he continued a career in private rehabilitation at Corvel Corporation. Ron was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. He especially enjoyed his seven years service in the Jordan River Temple. Ron is survived by his wife, Carole; children: Jeff Hodges, Scott (Mi Yon) Hodges, and Janet (Jeff) Hessler; grandchildren: Jennie (Justin), Heidi, Christopher, Meagan and Annie; and great-grandchildren, Gwyneth and Sebastian; sister and brother, Lona Low and Ted Hodges; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Cimarron Ward, 5980 South 1300 West where there will be a gathering of family and friends, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Graveside service will follow at the Smithfield Cemetery, Smithfield, UT.
