Dag Ax

Dag W. Ax (Doug) was born in Oslo, Norway on February 21, 1949 to Dina Ax. At the age of two, his family moved to Alberta Canada where they lived until they moved to Seattle Washington when he was twelve. He attended high school and later joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and provided 20 years of faithful service to our country. In 1970 he met Teresa Harowicz and they were married later that year. They had two children, Diane and David. They spent the next 44 years together until his passing on September 7, 2014. Dag (Doug) is survived by his wife Teresa Ax, daughter Diane (Kelly) Krutsinger, son David Ax, grandchildren Kyle and Kaylee Krutsinger, sisters Lilli (Horst) Boettcher and Randy Davis, his best friend Perry (Sherry) Tedford, and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Dina, father Peder Pedersen, sister Rita Keeller, and brother Roy Ax. Services will be held Saturday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m. at the 1st Baptist Church in Safford, AZ. Arrangements are entrusted to McDougals Caldwell Chapel
