Dale Sandoval Ramirez, 88, of Thatcher, Arizona, passed away July 15, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born February 6, 1929 in Thatcher, Arizona to Julio G. & Elena Pena Ramirez. Dale lived with his family in the Turnbull area, they raised Angolla Goats and moved to Klondyke, and then settled in Winkleman. He graduated from Winkleman High School. After High School he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in China. When he returned from serving his country he worked at the Flame Restaurant in Phoenix and was mentored because he was willing to do anything he was asked to do. Later he opened his own restaurant in Palm Springs, "Dales Diner". He then opened a seafood restaurant at the Salten Sea in California.
He is survived by his wife Mary, of 59 years; sons, Dale Ramirez Jr. (Ramona C.) of Phoenix, Carl Richard Ramirez of Phoenix, and and Jason Allen Ramirez (John) of Colorado; daughter, Cinthia Thomas (Tim) of Colorado; sister, Elvia Gomez of Thatcher; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughters, Alicia and Elena.
