Daniel Joseph Damron, 59, entered into rest on June 30, 2012 at his home in Pima. He was born on February 5, 1953 in Safford to Chester and Faye Damron. Daniel went to High School in Globe and graduated from Globe High school in 1972. He was a courtesy clerk at Bashas in Thatcher for many years. He enjoyed going to the casino with his dear friend Evia Hale and he loved to read books and magazines. One of the highlights of his life is when he was endowed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. He is survived by his cousin Kathy Kerby; his cousin Karole (Butch) Ward; one nephew; three nieces; and eight grand nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Faye Damron. Services for Daniel will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Pima Stake Center. The family will receive guests for a viewing at 11:00 a.m. just prior to the funeral. Daniel will be laid to rest in the Thatcher cemetery.
