DARRELL JUNIOR FULLMER 1928 ~ 2007 On the evening of November 26, 2007, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and brother was called home after a valiant battle with cancer. Darrell Junior Fullmer of Payson, Utah, formerly of Gunnison, Utah, was born on October 15, 1928 to Thomas Darrell Fullmer and Grace Josephine Blain in Spring City, Utah. Darrell was a faithful servant of our Heavenly Father. He served a mission to the Western Canadian Mission and served in many other callings throughout his lifetime. Darrell met the love of his life , Bernice Inkley and they married for Time and all Eternity on March 15, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Darrell is a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Air Force, stationed in north Africa. Darrell and Bernice were inseparable throughout their life as they raised 7 children together. Darrell enjoyed teaching school in Gunnison Elementary for 33 years as a resource teacher. He enjoyed working on the farm where he taught his boys the art of hard work. He and Bernice always enjoyed singing in the ward choir together and listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir each week. Darrell is survived by his beloved wife, Bernice; children: Kathleen Fullmer, David (Kathy), Fullmer, William (Linda) Fullmer, Thomas (Barbara) Fullmer, Caroline Clayton, James (Penny) Fullmer, Amy (Jody) Blackshear; 23 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his sister, Nedra Turner; and his brother, Don (JoAnn) Fullmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Farnum Fullmer; and brother-in-law, Frank Turner. Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held Friday, 11 - 11:45 a.m. Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery.
