Daryl Benallie

Daryl J. Benallie, 35, of Mesa, formerly of Bylas, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Mesa. He was born on July 9, 1977 in San Carlos, AZ to Andrew Benallie and Marilyn Rope. He married Wendy Diana Kitcheyan on August 29, 2006 in Scottsdale. Daryl attended college at mesa Community College and Pima Medical Institute. He worked as a Pharmacy Tech. He loved fishing, hunting, playing basketball, reading, artwork, and watching the NBA, he also was an avid Arizona Cardinals fan. Most of all he loved to watch his girls play basketball. The birth of his girls was some of the biggest highlights of his life. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Kitcheyan Benallie of Mesa; daughters, Alysia Benallie, Aliyah Benallie, Shania Benallie, and Megan Benallie, all of Mesa; his father, Andrew Benallie; siblings, Andrea (Andrita) Benallie Thorne, Audrey Benallie, Andrea Benallie, Christopher Benallie, Andrew Benallie, Jr., Ronald Benallie, Garrick Benallie, Dwayne Benallie, Steven Benallie, Benjamin Benallie, Anthony Benallie, and Myrna Benallie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Rope Benallie and grandmother, Lucinda Cooley Rope. Wake will begin at 4 p.m., on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Rope residence in Bylas. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the House of God Church in Bylas. Interment will be in the Navajo Point Cemetery.
