Dave Hawkins

Dave E. Hawkins, 86, of Eden, passed away at his home on April 14, 2019 in Eden, AZ surrounded by his loving children. He was born November 6, 1932 in Safford, AZ to Dave Elijah Hawkins & Lula Pearl Colvin Hawkins with siblings Doug Hawkins, Bill Hawkins, Margie Hawkins, Dan Hawkins, and Loretta Hawkins. Dave grew up in Eden and in January of 1955 he married Myrna Colvin in Pima AZ, and from this union 7 children were born; Randy, Rhonda, Rochell, Raylene, Ronnie, Rebecca, and Richard. Dave worked as a Truck Driver (Doggy Bow Pow) for most of his life. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grand kids. Dave was known for being a man of all trades, He loved fixing things, collecting things, and selling things. Dave was known as a good man, a good father, and a great friend. He told it like it was and never apologized for speaking his mind. Dave was a man full of love, especially for his family. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Randy & Rhonda Hawkins, Rhonda & Jon Norton, Rochell & Morgan Cook, Raylene Hawkins, Ronnie Hawkins, Rebecca Hawkins, Richard & Mickey Hawkins. Dave has 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April, 17 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m at Eden Cemetery, In Eden AZ.
