David Ashby

David R. Ashby Love You Most David Rudger Ashby was born June 9, 1936 in Richfield, Utah, to Wilford Lyman and Ivy Christensen Ashby. David was reunited with his beloved pal, Snow, and countless family and friends September 16, 2007 when he passed suddenly from this life into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Although David faced many struggles in his life, he was never known to complain. His great faith helped get him through. David was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings throughout the years. He served a full-time mission to England. He was sealed to the love of his life, Karen Gregerson, April 17, 1958 in the Manti Temple. Together they had three children: Russell Dane Ashby, Kathy Reeves, and Kristine Beth Ashby. David is survived by his wife; three children; grandson, Jordan David Ashby; brothers: Calvin (Leah) Ashby, Stan (Linda) Ashby; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville North Stake Center, 1250 West 4375 South. A viewing will be held Friday, September 21, 2007, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
