David Hiatt

David R. Hiatt 1938 ~ 2008 Hiatt, David Rulon, age 70, passed away peacefully October 31, 2008, at his Aurora, CO residence of 29 years. Born to Rosella Betts and Rulon Hiatt on April 27, 1938 and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, he served our country from 1956 to finally retiring in1986 as US Army Sgt. First Class - a decorated Vietnam and Korean War veteran. Thereafter he served his country in civil service. He loved the outdoors, motorcycles, and hobbies but nothing more than his family. Survived by his children Rose Jean, Gerry, Babette, Benjamin, Nathaniel, nine grandchildren, and twelve great grand children. - His siblings; Lyle Jenson, Ann Pittenger, Marilyn Davis, Shirley Sheppard and Paul Hiatt. He will be missed. He was preceded in death only by his daughter Leticia. He will be missed. For all who loved him, services will be held, Friday, Oct 7, 2008, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Interment, Payson City Cemetery.
