David L. Morrow Together Again David Lendrum Morrow, loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away June 27, 2009 in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born July 31, 1926 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, son of David Lendrum and Alta Drollinger Morrow. Married Yvonne Bonnie Easthope December 18, 1946 in the Alberta Temple in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. Davids life was filled with service. He served two terms as Bishop of the Kearns 10th Ward and other positions including Stake High Councilor, High Priest Group Leader, Priesthood and Gospel Doctrine Instructor and Ordinance Worker at the Jordan River Temple. Member of the Kearns 10thWard since its organization. Served three full time LDS missions (New Zealand, Western Australia and LDS Employment Services) and six Stake Missions. Served active duty in the US Army as a paratrooper. Trained as an electronics technician, Dave was a long-time employee of Hercules, Inc. He loved playing hockey, making ceramics, family history, and gardening. Father of five children. Survived by his children: Gae (Blake) Beckstrom, West Jordan, UT; Dawn (Mark) Yarbro, Ft. Worth, TX; Darren (Becky) Morrow, Riverton, UT; Rachel Morrow, Kearns, UT; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings: Melvin (Marsha) Morrow, Centerville, UT; Hilma (Richard) Thirkill, Ogden, UT; Wilma (Marvin) Bate, West Valley City, UT. Preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Wesley; son, Roy. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude for compassionate care provided by Legacy House of Taylorsville since December 2008. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at the Kearns 10th Ward, 5025 West 4865 South. A viewing will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
