David M. Mullen, 62, of Pima, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 in Pima. He was born on August 28, 1947 Terre Haute, Indiana, to Max and Helen Mullen. He married Charlotte Dye on July 25, 1998. David was reared and educated in Terre Haute, Indiana and graduated from Terre Haute High School. He joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He worked as shift supervisor at Phelps Dodge for many years. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and the American Legion. He loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He is survived by his wife Charlotte of Pima; five children Tina, Danny, David, Max and Shelia; four stepchildren Jennifer, Rory, Missy, and Roberta; his mother, Helen; siblings, Terry, Larry, and Kathy; 25 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Joseph Mullen. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the American Legion in Safford, with full Military Honors.
