David Sevy

David H Sevy 12 Legs David H Sevy, age 73, passed away February 8, 2008 at home in Taylorsville, Utah. Born February 15, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Dr. VM and Rhea Christensen Sevy. Graduated from East High School and Steven Henagars Business College. Retired from Sugar House Tent and Canvas. Dad had a great passion for the outdoors. His many hobbies include beadwork, making knives, tipis and cannons. He was a Mountain Man of the Wasatch. Loved rendezvous and trading his handy work. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. He was married to Nancee Young Sevy. Survived by daughter, Carey and Paul Draper; sons: Jeff and Robin Sevy, Kevin and Peggy Sevy; grandkids: Jared, Corey, Jason, Justin, Jackie, Riley, Brett, Adrianne, Jennifer; 7 great-grandkids; brothers: Don and Carroll, Tom and Elaine, Marlin and Liz. Dad will be missed by all those lives he touched. He possessed a cheerful and optimistic spirit that endured til the end. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Andrea Carroll of Rocky Mountain Hospice for her loving friendship to our family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12:00 noon at the Briarwood Ward, 3751 South 2200 West. A viewing will be held Monday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Tuesday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
