David Lester Welty 1945 ~ 2008 David Lester Welty, 62, passed away unexpectedly January 29, 2008. Born May 2, 1945 in Corning, New York to Burt and Nona Robertson Welty. Married Delores Ann Weller August 18, 1972 in Horseheads, New York. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He loved camping, fishing, traveling, cooking and spending time with family. Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars while living in New York and The Eagles Club while living in Colorado Springs, CO. Survived by wife, Delores; daughters, Seminole Kimmel and Naomi Jewett; 1 granddaughter; 5 grandsons; sisters: Noni Pitts, Loaraine Woodard; brothers: Bob Manry and Lester Welty. Funeral services will be held Monday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
