Dee Peterson

Dee A. Peterson 1917 ~ 2010 At the age of 92, Dee A. Peterson passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at his home in South Jordan, Utah. Dee was born in Moroni, Utah on February 4, 1917 to Harry Jacob Peterson and Mary Caroline Andersen. He had one brother and 5 sisters, who preceded him in death. On June 4, 1938 he married Nita Olsen and they were later sealed together in the Manti Temple. They had two sons, Steve (Juanita) and David (Rebecca). Dee worked many years at Sears selling building materials. He loved working in the temple. Together they served a temple mission in Washington D.C. After Nita died, he married Thelma Christensen on April 2, 1992. Her children are Sheri (Alan), Susan (Ron), Tammy (Heber), and David (Kathy). Dee loved the Lord and he loved his family which included 27 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 19,10:00 a.m. at the River Ridge 8th Ward, 10194 South 1050 West. A viewing will be held Monday, 6-8 p.m. at the church and again Tuesday, 10:00-10:45 a.m. also at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park, in West Valley City.
