Delarita Dawahoya, 68, of Phoenix, formerly of Bylas, entered into rest on Friday, May 8, 2105 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born December 4, 1946 in Bylas, AZ, to Thomas and Alberta Dawahoya. Delarita attended Ft. Thomas High School and furthered her education at Lamson Business College. She was a CSR Clerical Worker by trade and loved traveling, music and especially her family and grandchildren. She loved celebrations with her family; birthdays, graduations and ceremonies, and friendships. She is survived by daughters; Tamera Dawahoya-Gastelum and Jennifer Dawahoya. Grandchildren; Capri Dawahoya, Chelsea Dawahoya, Josiah Dawahoya and Jayden Jackson. Siblings; Winifred Cromwell, Gerald Rambler, Terry Rodriguez, Edsel Olivar, Corrine Bullis, Gary Rogers, William Rogers Jr., Pearl Almanzar, Janice Kindelay, Barton Dawahoya, Eunice Dawahoya, Zena Dawahoya and Betty Semour. Uncle/Aunt; Lester Dawahoya, Beatrice Dawahoya and Fern Dawahoya. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Dawahoya, Alberta Kenton-Johnson, and Eliza Jane Kenton; siblings, Fern Dawahoya, John Thomas Dawahoya, Zelda Dawahoya, Darrell Rogers, Alyce Rogers, Robert Olivar Sr.; and granddaughter Ciera Dawahoya . The wake will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bylas with the funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Blackpoint Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the Lighthouse Assembly of God at 4:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the Vernet Pike residence.
