Della Jean Bradshaw 1917 ~ 2008 Della Jean Bradshaw, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all, passed away peacefully Aug. 2, 2008, in Salt Lake City. She was born July 22, 1917, in Spanish Fork, UT, the daughter of George and Evelyn Cornaby Bearnson. She married Ronald Bradshaw May 15, 1939, in Salt Lake City, UT. They were sealed June 9, 1999, in the South Jordan Temple. Ronald preceded her in death. Della was a warm-hearted and selfless woman. She was a very intelligent and talented person who excelled as a student, seamstress, home decorator, and cook. Most importantly she excelled as one who loved her children, grandchildren, and everyone else unconditionally. She shared her talents and means freely with everyone she met. She was proud of her Icelandic heritage and was an attendant to the Icelandic Queen. She enjoyed horse-back riding, bowling, painting ceramics, making quilts, and taking trips with her family and friends. She worked for the United States Postal Service for over 22 years. She is survived by her son, Lee Jones Bradshaw (Cory); daughter, Michelle Miller; 44 grandchildren; 15 great grand-children; and 7 great-great grand children; brother, Everett Bearnson (Jacoba). She is also survived by many nieces ( special niece, Marilyn Burningham) and nephews who dearly loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, George Brent; daughter, Sharon Lynn; sisters (Viola, Evelyn, Vivian); and brother, Lynn. Appreciation is expressed to all who helped and cared for her these last years, especially her brother, Everett, who attended to her so lovingly the last year and a half. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 8, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
