Deloy M. Slaugh In Loving Memory Deloy Mervin Slaugh, age 67, passed away December 9, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born July 24, 1940 in Vernal, Utah, son of Mervin J and Mary Emily Bowden Slaugh. Married LaRue Larsen November 24, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He loved camping, four-wheeling, hunting, the outdoors and enjoyed his kids. He was a man of honesty, was selfless and a hard working man. He was always available for his kids. Go Utes! Survived by his wife, LaRue; children: Richard (Connie), David, Brenda (Alton) Sutton, Scott and Steven; 5 grandchildren: Heidi (Russell), Skyler, Austin, Jaydon and Colton; sister, Marva Hillis; brother, Dennis (Dorothy) Slaugh. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12:00 noon at the Welby 8th Ward, 8385 South 4800 West. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
