Dennis E. Johnson Gone Camping Dennis Eugene Johnson died August 23, 2010 after a 22 month battle with colon cancer. Born September 9, 1939 in Kalispell, Montana to Violet Johnson. He worked 25 years at the main post office as a clerk and supervisor before retiring. He served in the US Navy for 5 years. He liked to fish, camp, work in the yard, do puzzles, talk to people and go to Wendover. He enjoyed getting out on the road and going wherever the road took him. He is preceded in death by his mother and son, Corey Johnson. Survived by his son, Dennis E. (Sandy) Johnson, Jr.; sisters: Darlene (Lee) Ruddy, Judy and Darci; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. From his second family he is preceded in death by Wayne E. Draper, Bev Draper and Scott Draper. Survived by Rusty Poll, Gloria Draper, Mel Draper, Pat (Tammy) Draper and Vanessa Draper. Many thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and Intermountain Medical Center for their care. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 3:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
