Devin Hille

October 19, 1990 — July 14, 2013

Devin Richard Hille left us on July 14, 2013 in Virden,New Mexico. Devin was born on October 19, 1990 in Safford, AZ to Richard and Stacy Hille. Devin was very active. He loved to climb things and always exploring things. He loved playing baseball and always could hit the home runs. His love for trucks and cars started at an early age. He bought his first Jeep from Grandpa Hille when he was 15. After that, he rebuilt his first engine. That started the love of trucks and his passion for being a mechanic even though he wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps. This love eventually led to rock crawling and mud bogging. After 5 years of working on his Jeep, he finally got it out of the yard and his dream of entering it in a mud bog came true. He liked to hunt and fish, especially hand fishing on the Gila River. Camping was another of his loves with his Grandma and Grandpa Bennett and family and friends. His love for welding was inherited from his dad and Grandpa. Devin attended Duncan schools and graduated in 2009. During his high school years he played football and golf where he went to State in Golf. He was in 4-H and FFA. In 4-H he was awarded Greenlee County 4-H Award Winner , Record book completion awards for 2000 and 2002, 2001 Outstanding Progress Award. In FFA he was awarded Welder of the Year. He graduated UTI with an Associates Degree in Diesel Mechanic. He worked at Dairy Queen in Morenci, 3Way Gas Station, Cook at Gimees, Town of Duncan, Summitt Mines, H&S Field Service, and employed at the time with Freeport. He will be remembered by blowing black smoke through Duncan with his brothers, as well as his smile and his love to be social with his family and friends. Devin is survived by his parents, Richard and Stacy; brothers Adam, Tracy, and Tommy; Grandparents Ray and Randa Bennett and Gordon and Minnie Hille; Aunts and Uncles Tammy (Chano) Talavera, Denny (Kristi) Bennett, Will (Bonnie) Hille , Harold (Barbie) Hille, Larry Walters Sr., Diana (Bill) Hille, Kathy Hille, Patricia Hille and numerous cousins, family and friends.
