Dina Pedersen

Dina Gurine Pedersen, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend entered into eternal life on October 6, 2010, in Safford, AZ. Dina was born December 19, 1920 in Porsguunn, Norway. She and her family left Norway on a ship to Canada in 1952 where they later made their way to Seattle, WA, and started a new life for themselves after the war. She and her husband, Pete, moved to Arizona in 1997 for a little fun in the sun in their retirement years. Later on in the Golden Years they moved to Thatcher to be closer to her family. Dina is preceded in death by her parents, her son Roy Ax, and daughter Rita Allen. Dina left behind her loving husband Peder Pete, son Dag W. (Teresa) Ax of Safford, daughters Lillie (Horst) Beottcher of Oregon, Randi Davis of Washington, 12 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren who will all greatly miss her sunny smile, kind words and the love that always shined through, even on the cloudiest days. God has called Dina home to His loving embrace but those left behind will never forget her loving embrace. May peace be with Dina as she makes her journey home to the Lord. A Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Safford.
