Danny Bustos 1906 ~ 2008 Our beloved father and grandfather, Dionicio Danny Bustos, passed away peacefully at 102 years old, on September 7, 2008, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on April 26, 1906 in Alcalde, New Mexico, to Jose and Maria de la Luz Bustos. He married Francis Blair Trujillo on December 26, 1945. They set up residence in Price, Utah, where they lived for over 40 years. During these years, he worked as a coal miner in various mines in Carbon County and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, until he retired in 1970. He was proud of his occupation and gave his best to his job. He was blessed to have lived over a century. He enjoyed a lifetime of experiences which included travel by chuck wagon to travel by todays fastest jets. His favorite past times were fishing, camping, spending time outdoors and making visits to his childhood hometown in New Mexico. He was a hard-working man; one who was devoted to his family and loved God with all of his heart. Often asked what his secret was to living so long, his response was, living a life that was pleasing to God. He leaves his family a legacy that will forever live on.
