Domenick Giacoletti

With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of Domenick Papas Giacoletti. Our strong Papa, Father, & “Hunter” earned his wings on September 1st, 2022 surrounded by family. He left us 68 days after his honey, Bernice Giacoletti, who passed away June 25th, 2022. Their love has shown us what a “true love story” is in real life. Domenick was born December 10th, 1935, to John Papas Giacoletti and Kate Schalskie Giacoletti. He was married to the love of his life, Bernice Spivey, on November 2, 1957. Papa had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, & bringing his family to “The Cabin” that we all loved to visit. He had an amazing ability to teach yet listen, be full of laughter yet intimidating, and even in his weakest moments he always exuberated strength. His legacy, strength, laughter, and "hunters" intuition will forever be engraved on our hearts and anyone who met him. Our hope is that we can love as he did. He is survived by his children, Domenick (Terry), Dennis (Julie) and Michael, 10 grandchildren, & 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, his daughter Kathy, and his beloved wife Bernice. We miss you already Papa! No services are planned at this time. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation St. Jude Children's Hospital as this was their favorite charity.
