Don Brown Clayburn Don Brown Clayburn passed away unexpectedly June 4, 2010 of cardiac arrest. Don was 7th of 10 children born to Frances (Frank) and Edith Mariah Brown Clayburn in Midway Utah, June 17, 1927. Don served in the United States Navy during WWII. He married Jacqueline Carrel Speirs on June 22, 1948 in Park City, UT, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. After working in the Park City mines Don made his career in the dairy industry as a truck driver. He was an active member of the LDS Church where he served as a temple worker for over 30 years. He and his wife Jackie served a family history mission in Manchester England. He faithfully served in many callings with the most rewarding being Stake Executive Secretary. Don had a great love for music and enjoyed sharing his unique talents of singing, yodeling and whistling, even while standing in the supermarket line. Don is preceded in death by his mother and father and 6 brothers and sisters. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jackie, children Dennis (Carolyn) Doyle, Glen (Lori), Carol Seastrand (Brett), 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his, brother Grant (Connie), sisters Doris Coulson (Sam) and Jane Brinkerhoff (Duane). Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 8th at 11 am in the Starcrest Ward, 999 N Starcrest Drive (approx 1800 West). Friends and family may call at McDougal Mortuary 4330 S Redwood Road Monday June 7th from 6-8 pm and Tuesday at the church from 9:30 10:30 pm. Interment at Midway City Cemetery, Midway UT.
