Don Meyers

Don L. Meyers Together Again Don LeRoy Meyers, 87, passed away March 30, 2010 in West Valley City, Utah. Born September 2, 1922 in Murray, Utah, son of Heber and Elizabeth Ann Adamson Meyers. Married Geraldine June Luxton Pierce September 15, 1945; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. Served as bishop as well as in many other callings including temple worker. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, horses and woodworking. Enjoyed camping and fishing in his motor home. Survived by his daughters: Cheryl (Eric) McRae and Kathleen (Brad) Beal; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife and son, Danny Meyers. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 5, 2010,12:00 noon at the Hunter East Stake, 5000 W. Pavant Avenue (3710 S.) Viewings will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
