Dona O'Connell

Dona Elizabeth O'Connell, 33, of Morenci, passed away December 14, 2016 in Tucson, AZ. She was born December 25, 1982 in Palomas, Mexico to William & Carren Nicklas. Dona was always a hard worker. After graduating from high school, she went on to receive her associates degree and graduated from cosmetology school. Soon after, she met and married her best friend, Christopher O'Connell, on May 30, 2003. Together, they have three beautiful children, Kayla, Kellee and Brandon. Her children were everything to her. She was always making something for them, watching them in school events, and caring for them at home. In her free time, she enjoyed making crafts, talking on the phone with her friends and she never passed an opportunity to help someone in need. Dona is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Christopher, her three kids, Kayla, Kellee and Brandon, her parents, Bill and Carmen Nicklas, brother, Mike Nicklas, mother & father-in-law, Dan & Linda O'Connell, brother & sister-in-law, Scott & Amanda O'Connell as well as one niece and four nephews. Funeral services for Dona will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Clifton Chapel in Clifton, AZ. Interment will immediately follow the services in the Graham Cemetery.
