Donald Daniels

Donald J. Daniels Don Donald James Daniels, age 61, of West Valley City, Utah, passed away May 11, 2009 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born May 16, 1947 in Lancaster, PA. Served in the US Army 5th Special Forces Group in the Vietnam War. Married Carol Hansen April 20, 1991; later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. He enjoyed being a member of the Buckskin Brigade Club and participated in the Mountain Man Rendezvous activities in the surrounding areas. Member of the LDS Church and was greatly appreciated for his efforts as a Cub Scout leader. A true friend to all that knew him, and will be greatly missed. Survived by his wife, Carol; 4 stepchildren: MariJane (Bryan) Turner, Suzanne (Nicholas) Rayner, Caroline (Trevor) Livingston, Jacqueline (Nathan) Smith; 12 grandchildren. Special thanks to Hospice, Denny, Jessie and friends at Smiths for all their friendship and dedication to Don. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
