Donna Blake

Donna Lee Blake, 82 of Safford passed away on November 17, 2010 at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Safford 20th Street LDS Chapel with viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery. Donna was born June 24, 1928 in Ramah, New Mexico and graduated from Farmington High School in Farmington, New Mexico. After graduation, Donna attended Gila College (EAC) and met her husband George Lavon Barney Blake. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving throughout her life. She was also a member of the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary for 24 years. Donna enjoyed all forms of crafts and spending time with her family. Donna was preceded in death by her husband George Lavon Barney Blake, parents Wm. Lionel & Elva Arreta Bond Lee, sister Clea Wagoner and brothers Elmo, Charles and Floyd Lee. She is survived by her children George Lavon, Jr. (Susan) Blake and Sherrie Lynn Blake, grandchildren Tyler, Lee & Scott Blake, Heather Rath, great grandchildren Addison Blake, Afton Rath, and sibling Joseph Lynn Blake & Leona Lee Lynn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.
