Dorothy Mae Huffman, 75, of Graham County, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born on August 15, 1935 in Thatcher, to Joseph Leo Benskin and Addie Alice Stockton. She married Bill Huffman on May 12, 1952 in Lordsburg, NM. Bill passed away December 26, 1981. Dorothy attended school in Thatcher. She was a homemaker for her family. She was a wonderful cook and made the best Cinnamon Rolls in the world. She also love to quilt and crochet, and was a caregiver to many in the valley. She is survived by her daughters Shirley (Earl) Hill of Cleburne, TX, Jackie Blackburn of Thatcher, and Addie (Carl) Lewis of Pima; one sister Mary Todd of Safford; two brothers Richard Benskin of Safford, and Leonard (Glenda) Benskin of Taft, CA; 23 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel, 112 East Main Street. Friends may call Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Caldwell Funeral Chapel, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.
