Dorothy "Dino" "Dot" Mull, a beloved member of the Apache Junction community, passed away suddenly in her home on March 30th, 2024. She was known for her unwavering faith in God, dedication to her family, and her kind and loving nature.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1951, Dorothy's journey led her to become pillar of the community in Apache Junction, Arizona. Her career path was marked by compassion and service - starting as a school bus driver for the Apache Junction School District, she eventually transitioned to becoming a teacher for elementary school-aged children. She touched the lives of many students whom she fondly referred to as "My Kids", both on the bus and in the classroom.
Dorothy's warm personality and strong work ethic endeared her to all who knew her. She was not only a devoted mother and wife but also served as an assistant pastor, demonstrating her deep-rooted faith and commitment to helping others. Her love extended not only to her family but also to her pets, showcasing her caring nature.She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ester Cannon, brother Joseph Cannon, sister Diane Jones.
Survived by her husband Verrin Mull, son Lee Johnson Jr.(Elisa), several grandchildren, and many other dear family members and friends, Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished forever.
In addition to her professional achievements and roles within the community, Dorothy's hobbies and interests centered around caring for those around her with kindness and words of love. Her impact on the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
As we mourn the loss of Dorothy Mull, let us also celebrate the light she brought into our lives through her selflessness, dedication, and unwavering love. May her memory continue to inspire us to live with open hearts and serve others with compassion.
