Dorothy Faye Caroline Wiggins, 87, of Safford, passed away July 8, 2014 in Gilbert, AZ. She was born July 7, 1927 in Sweetwater, OK, to Andrew Jackson & Gracie Jane Flowers Webb. She came west with the great migration of the dust bowl to settle in Safford. She met and married Walter Franklin Wiggins on December 12, 1942. Frank and Dorothy were blessed with Donald Franklin, Linda Jane and Jimmy Dale. Dorothy was a homemaker and mother but still found time to attend Safford High School to earn her diploma. In later years Dorothy was a waitress at the Town House Cafe. Dorothy was a member of the Safford Womans Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a past member of the Emblem Club where she held many offices. She is survived by her three children; Donald (Grace) Wiggins of McNeal, AZ, Linda (Mel) Taylor of Safford, AZ, and Jimmy (Roxanne) Wiggins of Chandler, AZ, 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Frank, of 63 years, brothers; James, Gene & Glenard Webb, sisters; Edith Talkington, Aliene Beasley, Pauline Neville, Helen Brown and Billie Horner, her parents; Andrew & Gracie Webb and her great-grandson Jacob Morrow. Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God in Safford. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
