Douglas J. Boudreau, 67, of Safford, passed away August 7, 2014. Douglas was born November 22, 1946 to Gerald Joseph & Constance Anita Boudreau in Waterville, Maine. Douglas was 100% disabled but was also a man with many ways to help others. He was in the US Navy from 1966 until 1969 and loved the open waters. After his service he was the President of S.P.A.C.E., a club in Ithaca, NY for the mentally challenged. He enjoyed helping others and helped create food pantries in the Ithaca area. Douglas was an herbalist and loved nature. He could often be found walking the paths in the woods watching wildlife and nature at its best. He loved to go camping and fishing, anything to do with the outdoors. Douglas is survived by his wife of 10 years, E-yoncca Boudreau, son; Jason Smith, sister; Celeste Ann, brothers; Everett, Alan and Clark, and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Gerald & Constance Boudreau who are sleeping in death. A Memorial service for Douglas will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness in Safford.
