Douglas H. Carter Crawdad Douglas Herman Carter, 71, passed away July 10, 2009 in Murray, Utah. Born December 22, 1937 in Price, Utah, son of Joseph A. and Florence E. Plewe Carter. Married Marianne Dirnberger; later divorced. Met his lifes love, Be Cruz Carter. He was a WWII veteran and retired from Tooele Army Depot and Primary Childrens Medical Center. His greatest love was hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family at the top of Skyline Drive. His second love was restoring his 1965 Pontiac 2+2 Catalina. Survived by his wife, Be; children: Alvin (Audrey) Carter, Barbara Carter, Mike (Ludene) Carter, Dan (Letha) Carter, Sabrina (Ron) Martinez, Doug (Kathryn) Carter, Steven Carter; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters: Venita (David) Mitchell, Linda (Larry) Clark; brothers: Joe (Maurie) Carter and Robert Carter. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Wednesday, 10-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South.
