Duane Brinkerhoff 1932 ~ 2010 Duane Brinkerhoff, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, passed away September 19, 2010 peacefully at home due to Parkinsons Disease. Duane was born on May 26, 1932 in Emery, Utah, to Peter and Marjorie Howard Brinkerhoff. Married Jane Clayburn, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Duane was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His favorite calling was Young Mens President in the Taylorsville 12th Ward. Duane and Jane served a mission in the Albuquerque, New Mexico mission working with the Navajo people. Duane worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years, mostly in a supervisory position. Duane was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had many memorable outdoor experiences with his friends and family. Duane and Jane have five daughters: Dianne Brinkerhoff, Patricia (Mel) Perry, Wendy Jane (Brian) Wilcox, Sandra (Kirt) Larson, Suzanne Tanner; 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, September 24, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 45th Ward, 1900 South Orchard Drive. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road or Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Midway Cemetery.
