"Guy" Duane Dan Goseyun, born May 11, 1956 to his late parents Hugh Dan Goseyun & Clara Duane Goseyun. On February 28, 2017 at the age of "60", Duane entered into eternal rest to join his parents Hugh & Clara Goseyun and his siblings: Sterling Dan Goseyun Sr, Von Lou Goseyun Bear, Christina Goseyun Elgo, Becenti Dan Goseyun, Ramley Dan Goseyun, and Ava Goseyun.
Duane came from a big family of "13", he leaves behind, sisters; Caroline Goseyun Hastings, Pearl Goseyun Henry, Leah Goseyun Victor, Terilyn Curley and brothers; Quintero Dan Goseyun, and Lydo Dan Goseyun Sr. His survivors are also his 4 children; Kodee Jo Goseyun, Dwaleen Goseyun, Dominque Goseyun and Dewayne Goseyun, and has 4 grandchildren.
Duane started school at Ft Thomas Elementary and continued to graduate from Ft Thomas High School, he has participated in Football, Basketball and FFA, and has won numerous awards, scholarships and was chosen a "Home Coming King". As a youngster, Duane has worked as a "Cowboy" on the Ash Creek ranch participating in their "round-ups". Duane was an outdoorsman; fishing, camping, and hunting. He has competed in numerous rodeo's in the events of Team Roping, Calf Roping, and won a buckle for Bull Riding.
Duane had his shares of working at the Morenci Mines for 25 years, and throughout the years he had returned to work in the Forestry Services as Crew Boss. "Guy" Duane Dan Goseyun, was a humble man, shared his home with all of his friends and not leaving anyone out. Had always smiled, and that smile was so contagious that he made everyone smile around him, his sickness did not stop his smiles at all.
Rest now in Peace Duane Dan Goseyun.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Goseyun residence in Bylas. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 8th at 10:00 a.m. also at the Goseyun residence with interment in the Black Point Cemetery.
