Edith Tolman

September 8, 1922 — February 21, 2010

Edith Bleak Tolman 9/8/1922 ~ 2/21/2010 It has been a joy, I am so blessed and you might as well laugh about it were some of moms last words, sharing her wit to the end. The last few days all of her family was able to be with her. Sharing her life and surrounding her these last few weeks were sons, Brent and Laura Tolman, Gary Tolman and Johnny Townsend, Jeff and Shannon Tolman; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews who adored aunt Edie. Mom loved having her friends and family in her home. She spent countless hours in caring for others. Mom and Dad were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple December 19, 1941 and she has missed him dearly since his passing 14 years ago. She will be remembered for always having a smile on her lips, a twinkle in her eye, and a dear friend to many. Preceded in death by her husband, Ivan; grandson, Justin Failner; siblings: Ray Bleak, Grace Muir, Hebe Bleak, Al Bleak, Helen Kotter Cazier; parents, Mark and Annie Bleak. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Legacy House and Haven Hospice. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Tuesday, 7-8 p.m. and Wednesday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, American Fork Cemetery.
